Sam & AJ’s love story began while helping their church friends move. Their first conversation started when AJ asked Sam, "You're not moving anytime soon, are you?" as he loaded furniture into the moving truck. Sam laughed. That moment sparked the beginning of their friendship.

Through spending time together with their mutual friends, Amanda & Schyler (who ended up becoming their Matron of Honor and Best Man), it became clear to everyone that this friendship might turn into something more. However, tides turned when after going on three dates, Sam told AJ she only wanted to be friends. Sam and AJ stayed friends for over the next year, but Sam stayed in AJ’s heart. God ended up working in Sam’s heart at the end of 2019 to consider AJ again and after an unexpected New Year’s kiss, their relationship began.

The rest is history. God is faithful, amen?

Ever since capturing their engagement photos in Bloomington, I’ve been chatting with Sam and looking forward to this day! Sam discipled me in college (like a spiritual mentor), but our discipleship turned into so much more. I’m so thankful to call Sam a lifelong loyal friend with the most authentic spirit. She lights up the room when she smiles and has the best laugh that makes you want to laugh along. Her friendship is a true treasure.

Sam & AJ, your Bloomington wedding was the best party after a long quarantine! We love you both so much.

This necklace belonged to AJ’s grandparents. They ironically called each other “Sam” as a nickname. Clearly, Sam & AJ were meant to be!

Sam & AJ shared their first look on the front porch of Amanda & Schyler’s home. I can’t imagine a more perfect location given this is where their relationship blossomed.

They exchanged the most heartfelt letters. Seriously so sweet!

It wouldn’t be a Hoosier wedding without a fun bridal party! We drove a party bus and took photos on campus, taking advantage of all of the beautiful landscaping that comes with spring graduation.

The stunning Mr. & Mrs. Agler!

What is more fun than a grand exit from your ceremony? Sam & AJ radiated pure joy.

We ended the night with a beautiful reception, delicious BBQ, and dancing the night away.

Cheers to Sam & AJ! We love you both and are so excited for your new lives as the Agler’s. Enjoy your honeymoon in Key West!!
