Spencer & Grace's West Loop Engagement Session

Spencer and Grace make the most marvelous pair. Both originally from Chicago, they ended up in Indiana at Butler University and Indiana University respectively for college. Two years ago, they reconnected and started dating back in Chicago! Fast forward to today, where they are now engaged and look forward to spending the rest of their lives together as the future Mr. & Mrs. Angsten.

One of the best things about Spencer & Grace is how close they are to their families, how they are both early morning birds who wake up at 6am, and love starting their mornings with coffee together. It made our dreamy 7am sunrise engagement shoot a breeze!

I met Spencer three years ago when we started working on the same team at Google Chicago. He’s charismatic, hilarious, and a huge sports aficionado! It’s been so fun getting to know Grace over the years too. She’s gorgeous inside and out and I know they’re going to have such a fun marriage together as husband & wife!

We started shooting in Mary Bartelme Park, where the leaves were just starting to show hues of yellow & red. So beautiful!

The West Loop is special to Spencer & Grace because they both lived in the neighborhood while dating, and also got engaged there! After proposing at their apartment, they celebrated with friends and family at Recess and catered food from Duck Duck Goat.
