I met Kelsey almost a decade ago while we attended IU together. We both got involved in a campus fellowship called Cru and attended the same Bible study through the Greek system :) Little did I know that our time together in Cru and getting discipled together would develop into a lifelong friendship that I will always treasure!

Kelsey is the funniest, most kind, beautiful and encouraging soul. We’ve walked through much of life together and when she first started talking about Boone, it quickly became clear that he was a keeper and here to stay. His humor and country mouse charm to her city slicker vibe were a match made in heaven. To this day, I don’t know of many other couples whose dates rival theirs!

I was beyond excited to attend and help photograph her fabulous bridal shower at Ravinia Green Country Club. I’ve heard legends of her mom, Sue Crawford’s party planning skills. Combined with Kelsey’s twin sister, Kristyn’s MC-ing gifts, it did not disappoint! They put on a garden tea party-themed day with the motto, “Love is Brewing.” :)

Sue left no stone unturned, starting with the same bold pink floral garden embellishments detailed on every decoration. Every guest even got a matching floral mask to keep us safe during COVID! Anthropologie mugs with each person’s initial awaited them, along with a magnificent floral menu of appetizers + lunch, take home tea and sweets bags. Absolutely incredible, and it made each guest feel so special. Oh, and how could I forget the buckets of hand sanitizer Sue magically managed to order from Bath & Body Works? She’s a wizard.
