Wasserman Family Session

One of the greatest blessings we've experienced since moving to Chicago just over two years ago is our church family at Park Community Church - South Loop. From the first time we attended a service, we knew this was a place we could grow in our faith, be challenged, and form a lifelong community. Steven and I serve in the Loop, which is our children's ministry. Oftentimes filled with budding pre-schoolers running wildly around the classroom and attempting messy crafts, we've loved our time with the three to five year olds. Jenny leads the Loop program and we've loved getting to know her family over the past year. Her oldest son, Grant, has been in our class that whole time. He's very winsome with his quiet intelligence, genuine words, and a formidable block tower builder to boot.

At the end of July, burglars broke into the Wasserman home and stole valuable electronics from their home. Not only was this a material loss, they also lost precious family memories and photos that had been taken over the years. Our hearts went out to them and we knew we wanted to offer a family session to them to help make a few more new memories for them to cherish and look back upon. It was an incredible privilege getting to shoot Jenny, her husband, Travis, and cute boys, Grant & Seth at the beautiful Women's Park.

Grant and Seth showed up in their favorite colors, orange & blue respectively. Love that their personalities got to be represented in their clothing choices!

Boys will be boys and it was amazing to see how good Travis was with the boys. At one point, he had one son in each hand dangling upside down midair. It made me imagine if Steven will be doing that with our future kids... ;)

Thank you, Wasserman family, for allowing us to be a part of your lives and document this fun time in your family journey! Excited to see the next few years to come as the boys grow older!
